Gunfleet Sands Wind-Farm

The work on the wind-farm is now in full swing and will be ongoing into 2009. The contractors are producing a weekly bulletin of progress and of work planned in the week ahead. This includes pictures of the vessels involved. Those needing to be fixed in position while working have very long anchor cables out.

As the address of the weekly bulletin changes the easiest way of getting the latest infrmation is to go via the East Coat Rivers website (www.eastcoastrivers.com) or the RYA Eastern Region website (www.ryaeast.org). Both of these also give news of other activities potentially affecting navigation.
