Winter Talk, 10.45 for 11, Kayaking in Canada, Tony Holford

Loading Events

Tony Holford spent 12 days canoeing and wild camping down the river Yukon (no phone signal, no shops, but maybe the odd bear).

The trip started by flying into Whitehorse in the Yukon, where the group bought their supplies and rented Canadian canoes. The following day they drove 6 hours north to Mayo, where they got a boat-plane to fly them, and all their equipment and supplies, out to McClusky Lake. From there they carried everything to the Wind river where the adventure started.

A boat-plane was then booked to pick them up from Taco Bar, on the Peel river, at the end of the trip
