GUIDANCE FOR MEMBERS
CLUB BAR OPENINGS AND INDOOR FUNCTIONS
WINTER 2021/2022
BEFORE ARRIVAL:
All members and guests are required to have a lateral flow test 24 hours before attending any bar opening or other indoor event.
Please also only attend if you have been double vaccinated and had a booster jab, as appropriate.
Attendance at an organised Club event is via the booking system on the Club website.
Bookings will only be accepted for organised events with a declaration as to having had double vaccinations and a lateral flow test, as above.
Members attend any event at their own risk.
ON ARRIVAL:
Please scan the NHS QR Code or sign the Visitors’ Book.
Attendees are encouraged to wear masks but this is not mandatory.
DRINKS ORDER:
Drinks will be served as usual from the bar. The screen which has been in place from the first events at the Club following the 2020 lockdowns will be in place over the bar.
AS USUAL, PAYMENTS ARE TO BE MADE BY CONTACTLESS CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD (so please don’t forget to bring them!). The two Contactless readers will be on the bar counter.
Please avoid congregating at the bar and leave the bar area once served. It is appreciated that this may prove difficult at large organised functions, but it is important to maintain social distancing.
Keep in mind social distancing around the Club whenever possible.
VISITING THE HEADS:
All toilet facilities within the Club are available for use.
There are clear instructions for use and you will be asked to sanitise all touch points and surfaces going in and out.
There is a bin provided so that you can wipe down the door handles and then dispose of the wipe in the bin.
BOOKING:
Attendance at any organised event is by the website booking form. See announcements via Mailchimp as regards booking arrangements. If any event is fully booked due to limitations on capacity, please contact the following to be placed on a reserve list:
Wednesday Suppers: Pauline Dyson
Any other event: Janet Sparrow

REMEMBER:
YOU MUST HAVE A NEGATIVE LATERAL FLOW TEST WITHIN 24 HOURS OF THE EVENT
YOU CAN ONLY ATTEND IF DOUBLE VACCINATED AND WITH BOOSTER JAB IF APPROPRIATE
DO NOT ATTEND THE EVENT IF YOU HAVE A POSITIVE LATERAL FLOW TEST, IF YOU ARE FEELING UNWELL OR IF ARE DISPLAYING ANY SYMPTOMS OF COVID-19
