The Clubhouse can be hired by non members for meetings or classes, but not private parties. It is available to Club Members for private parties. 

Visiting Yacht Clubs are welcome to use our BBQs, Clubhouse and Bar by prior arrangement.

Making a Booking:

Applicants should be aware that the Clubhouse is open for the use of members at lunchtimes from 12 – 14.30 on Saturday and Sundays throughout the year.

Tariff:

Non Members
Meetings or Classes £100 whole day, or £12.00 per hour (minimum period 1 hour).
Members
Third Party Bookings £100 whole day only.
Private Parties No charge for any 2021 bookings, but the club bar must be used for alcoholic drinks
Visiting Yacht Clubs No charge, but the Club Bar must be used for all alcoholic drinks.

 

Basic Conditions
The Clubhouse is available to Members for private parties on condition that the Bar is used for the supply of all alcoholic drinks. Only champagne/sparkling wine may be brought onto the premises for the purpose of greeting guests on arrival or toasting.

The hirer is responsible for finding a suitable Club Member to manage the Bar throughout the function. Please note that only trained Club Members are permitted behind the Bar.

The Galley may only be used by the hirer or outside caterers by prior agreement with the Social Secretary.

Details of the party must be discussed in advance with the Bookings Secretary and agreed in writing.

If a day is chosen when the bar is open at lunchtime, the event must finish by 1200 or not start until 1500, except for bookings by members.

Use of the Kitchen and Bar is excluded for meetings and classes, other than by prior arrangement.
