Summer is truly here and members are greatly enjoying the club cruises. Recent cruises include the Medway cruise where yachts venture further afield, with visits to Gillingham, Chatham Historic Dockyard, Queenborough and a pleasant sail home.  The  Tollesbury cruise is a delight,  and there are visits to Bradwell, Brightlingsea and on shore activities such as nature walks and dinners at pubs and marinas.

Members are looking forward to future voyages to Southwold, Blackwater and even Belgium and Holland. Sailing in company on well organised cruises is one of the best reasons for joining WCC, especially if you have never crossed the channel before, or are voyaging to harbours new, and want a safe trip with fun social events.

Onshore activities are still continuing, with the riverside clubhouse the focus of the summer socials and barbecues, which are always enjoyed by club members.

The cruising club is looking forward to the summer sailing programme, so why not consider joining. This website has full details and new members are welcome, whether you currently own a motorboat or yacht, (or are a past owner), or have an interested in all things nautical.
